Description of ProgramThe Nevada Caregiver Support Center (NCSC) provides support for seniors with memory disorders and training and support designed to educate and assist both families and professionals caring for elderly adults with dementia. The mission of the NCSC is to maintain elderly Nevadans in their homes while maximizing quality of life. Services provided include individual consultation and home-based support.(775-784-4335)
ObjectivesConfidential assistance for elderly persons with memory disorders and their families; individualized assistance for families in coping with care-giving challenges; training in positive behavioral strategies; home-based support available; 24-hour Caregiver Helpline; training workshops for family and professional caregivers in evidence-based care.
